The Simplar team is a collaborative group of practitioners, faculty, and researchers that provides consultancy services and conducts academic research.  As part of its ongoing efforts to discover, document, and implement best practices in a variety of industries, the Simplar team supports and actively engages in industry-driven research.  This research is conducted through the Simplar Foundation, a 501c(3) non-profit organization  www.simplarfoundation.org

The Center for Procurement Excellence (CPE), is a non-profit member organization that promotes excellence in Request for Proposals and qualification-based solicitation processes.  CPE was formed based on the research and finding of the various best practices including those from the Simplar team.  The Simplar team and the Simplar Foundation support CPE by providing executive support, materials development, and educators/speakers for CPE training and other events.  Portions of the CPE content and approach are the fundamentals or basics of Simplar’s advanced tools and processes.
