Hands-on pursuit coaching leads to a $50M win
UCI was pursuing a $50M WWTP project under the CMAR Delivery Method.
Simplar provided pursuit coaching and proposal development support to help UCI win the project against 2 larger competitors.
This was one of the single largest projects UCi had ever pursued.
Simplar facilitated a 2-day on-site workshop to build project-specific content for UCI’s proposal response Simplar travelled to UCI’s headquarters to get in the “war room” with their project team. Simplar helped the team generate the proposed plan for pre-construction and construction phases of the job.
Simplar guided the written proposal response After the workshop, Simplar helped translate the workshop content into the written proposal documents. This included the Cover Letter, Project Approach, Past Performance, and other sections of UCI’s proposal response.
Simplar provided coaching for UCI’s interview strategy UCI was ultimately invited to the interviews based on the high evaluations scores their proposal received. Simplar helped UCI’s leadership identify which individuals should be on the interview team and coached the team on interview best practices.
UCI won the project over an ENR Top 35 Contractor.
